Can Modi & His Government Drive Economic Progression?
Well, i am an economist & i can only tell things only from a economic stand point. One cannot quantify willingness of any government to do it – be it MODI ji or anybody else – One can only say the probability of doing it given the economies of scale which are in government’s favour – like Fiscal Deficit, GDP growth, Populist Political Agenda & Political Stability – taking people along with you by taking Youth into confidence. Yes, all of these are something that is in MODI’s favour to drive change & mind you – we have never had all this factors in place since independence . (And for people who say that these factors were in place earlier as well – i can give you some respite to your mind to say – “INDIA has never been even assessed on these factors, so just forget about factors being in place earlier” )
Most often when you look at developed economies & looked through their development path- you will notice that – having a government that can act as a Brand – is a pen ultimate thing. Most businesses flourish with a positive thinking only when they progress with their brand agenda. To deliver as a ‘brand’ you need a good leader who is driven to ‘enable change’ as its mantra & take people along in the journey to change. He must be an efficient seeker & an effective sales man who can sell thoughts to enable his vision of change & this is something Modi has demonstrated time and again & promises to deliver.
Leaving all political parties aside – judging from an individual perspective – Modi is one & the only leader who fits into Indian History post Independence who has managed to take the youth into confidence in an affirmative way to breed prosperity in the country. Remember ‘Youth & Efficiency’ is only a brand & you need to have strong ambassador who can endorse the Brand & let the world know about its viability of its efficiency.
Mind you – the entire world is reeling under Identity crisis with no sense of prominent leadership across the world post – Trump, Trade wars, Chinese slowdown – India can only emerge stronger in the race to progress. So a brand like Modi can only add light for a brighter possibility.
